Glamping Tents
Located in the heart of the Spirit of the Rainforest Village, our glamping tents offer a unique stay at a Sunshine Coast resort surrounded by forest and open space. Set within an 88-acre nature reserve, this is glamping on the Sunshine Coast designed for guests who want to experience nature without giving up comfort.
Just a short walk from the restaurant, our glamping village provides a peaceful and immersive outdoor setting. Recognized as one of the most unique glamping experiences on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Ruby Lake Resort blends simplicity, privacy, and connection to nature.
Each tent is thoughtfully set up with comfortable beds, power, and lighting, offering a relaxed alternative to traditional Sunshine Coast accommodation. Guests have access to two central washroom bathhouses, cooking facilities, and a large covered market tent available to all guests, rain or shine.
For groups of friends or families combining glamping tents and tiny wood cabins, the upper village offers a spacious and social setting. A beautiful marquee tent with seating for over 100 guests creates a central gathering space to eat, relax, and spend time together in any weather. With an outdoor kitchen and plenty of open space, it is a place to share meals, play games, and enjoy the experience together, making it one of the most unique glamping destinations on the Sunshine Coast.
Wake up to birds, fresh forest air, and the quiet of the rainforest. Evenings are calm and cozy under the trees, creating a true glamping experience in British Columbia.
If you are searching for glamping Sunshine Coast, a Sunshine Coast resort, or a unique place to stay in BC, our glamping tents offer an authentic and memorable way to experience the region.

Due to our isolated location on the Sunshine Coast, everything we operate with must be transported by ferry. As a small, seasonal business, our supply and transportation costs have increased significantly—often 25% to 30% higher than those of mainland businesses, especially since COVID.
It is extremely challenging for a small operation like ours to absorb these costs.
To help offset this, a 2.4% surcharge applies only to credit card payments.
We ask guests, when possible, to use debit, e-transfer, or cash to help us manage these costs, as these methods are not subject to any additional charge.
We truly appreciate your understanding and support.
