Planning your visit to Ruby Lake Resort is part of the experience, and a little preparation goes a long way.

We highly recommend booking your stay in advance to ensure availability, especially during weekends, holidays, and peak season. Our accommodations are limited, and the resort fills up quickly.

If you are traveling from Vancouver or beyond, it is equally important to reserve your BC Ferries sailing both coming to the Sunshine Coast and for your return trip. This step is often overlooked, but it is essential to avoid delays and fully enjoy your time here.

Please keep in mind that your journey includes a 45 minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale, followed by approximately a 1 hour and 15 minute scenic drive north along Highway 101 to Ruby Lake Resort.

We strongly encourage guests to plan their arrival time carefully. Arriving late in the evening can be challenging, especially for first-time visitors, as it gets dark and signage can be harder to follow.

If you are running late, we kindly ask that you contact us. It is both a courtesy and an important part of ensuring your safe arrival. There have been occasions where guests did not arrive as expected, and we remained concerned and waiting late into the night. A quick call makes a meaningful difference.
