Our 30’ x 60’ marquee tent seats up to 130 people and is situated in the Rainforest Village opposite the amphitheater stage under the big fir tree. It offers you the opportunity to have a formal meal with a top table and seating plans, or keep an informal set up using round tables of 6, 8, 10 and 12.
Our fully dressed buffets and barbecues make for the most impressive settings and offer something for everyone. We can offer plated service, but the location is better suited to buffet.
We are also famous for our wild game dishes. Our menu and daily specials include wild boar, elk, kariboo, Arctic musk ox, ostrich and kangaroo. All our meat is either wild or naturally raised as part of a monitored and sustainable program.
Vegetarians are not forgotten at Ruby Lake Resort, and another house specialty is Penne con Fungi - made with chanterelle, pine, cauliflower, shiitake and king boletus mushrooms, as and when they are available. These wonderful mushrooms are also used to top many of the wild game dishes.

Chef Aldo’s policy is to promote sustainable fishery and to support suppliers of organically grown foods.
He also grows many of his own vegetables and herbs on the property, without the use of chemicals and pesticides. The food is produced naturally on site which means produce is used when needed, and in season.
We also use fair trade and local goods wherever possible.
Menus for weddings, groups and all other occasions can be arranged, for group sizes up to 130 people. We also offer private dining, group barbecues, dressed buffets, picnics and children’s dining options.
